For us humans, the mosquito is the most dangerous animal on earth. Through the global transportation of goods, mass tourism and climate change, mosquitos are travelling large distances - while carrying dangerous diseases like dengue, West Nile fever, Zika, chikungunya and yellow fever. Around 25.000 people die each year only of dengue, most of the time kids and most of the time because their parents are not familiar with the symptoms and the urgency of the virus.
Ireso e.V. is a non-profit agency trying to educate people around the world about the dangers of mosquitos to fight these deaths.
The organisation reached out to us with the task of creating a website to attract a community of potential educational institutions to join Ireso e.V. in it's mission and spread the educational material, that Ireso e.V. is providing.
Before getting into ideas or even design, we took a closer look at the group of people our client wanted to address and created scenarios on how and when these people would use our website.

After brainstorming our ideas, we started by creating an information architecture followed by wireframes before going into design. We made sure to get feedback from our client before moving to the next step.
The original website we made is unfortunaty inactive at the moment. Nevertheless, Ireso e.V. adapted a version of our work to be incorporated into their main website.
